Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Manager / Registered WSH Officer

Job Summary

TECHLEAD TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Manager to lead and oversee the company’s workplace safety and health functions.

The successful candidate must be a MOM registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with a valid registration and will lead a small safety team supporting our semiconductor engineering and project operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small team of WSH personnel, including Safety Officers and Safety Coordinators.
• Develop, implement and maintain the company’s WSH policies, procedures and management systems.
• Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, MOM requirements, client requirements and applicable industry standards.
• Lead workplace and project risk assessments and ensure appropriate control measures and Safe Work Procedures are implemented.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and compliance reviews.
• Investigate workplace incidents, near misses and safety observations, identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and review Permit-to-Work, Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedures and other safety documentation.
• Monitor contractors, subcontractors and site personnel to ensure compliance with company and client safety requirements.
• Coordinate safety training, toolbox meetings, safety briefings and WSH awareness programmes.
• Manage emergency preparedness and response procedures.
• Maintain WSH records, incident statistics, reports and regulatory documentation.
• Liaise with MOM, clients, contractors, project teams and other relevant authorities on WSH matters.
• Advise Management and project teams on workplace safety risks and improvement measures.
• Support semiconductor-related project activities, including engineering, installation, gas piping and site works.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Requirements

• Must be a currently registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with Singapore MOM.
• Relevant Diploma / Degree or recognised WSH qualification.
• Relevant experience in Workplace Safety & Health management.
• Experience in the semiconductor, engineering, construction, process, M&E or related industry is preferred.
• Experience leading or supervising a small safety team.
• Good knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation, risk management and site safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work closely with Management, project teams, clients and site personnel.
• Hands-on, responsible and able to manage both site operations and WSH documentation.
• Candidates with semiconductor project experience will have an added advantage.
