Accounting & Tax Supervisor

At TechBiz Global, we are providing recruitment service to our TOP clients from our portfolio. We are currently seeking an Accounting & Tax Supervisor who is responsible for leading complex, high-impact projects from initiation through delivery. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder man agement skills.

Job description: Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements

Prepare and/or review financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness

Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested and any other document requested by management

Supervise and/or manage all clients deadline (refer to our yearly financial calendar)

Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and

maintaining strong employee relationships and acting as a mentor to them

Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.

Ensure complete and proper filing of documents as agreed internally

Plan, assign and review staff’s work

Contribute to a strong relationship through positive interactions with client personnel

Liaise with corporate administrators, external auditors, associates, Income Tax Authorities and any other Governmental authorities when needed

Create yearly budget in accordance with the specified deadlines

Prepare updated tax card on annual basis in accordance with the specified deadlines

Prepare monthly new/lost clients’ report as per the specified deadlines

Requirements: ACCA Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Fluency in English and Greek is a must

Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting and tax management.

Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards.

Experience with tax compliance, including filing tax returns and responding to tax audits.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience managing and mentoring a team of accounting professionals.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel and MS Office and computer literate

Familiarity with software programs Cycom, Caseware will be considered an advantage.
