Marketing & Growth Program - Pick Your Track
Build Your Edge at TechBBQ Want to see what happens behind one of European's largest startup and innovation summits? TechBBQ brings together founders, investors, operators, corporates and ecosystem builders from across the Nordic and European startup scene. Now we’re opening our Marketing & Growth team to a small group of Volunteers who want to build practical experience while contributing to real projects. This is an unpaid, structured learning program where you choose the area you want to grow in, work alongside the TechBBQ team, and develop skills you can take with you beyond the program.
Pick your track Growth & Sales Research, segmentation, outreach preparation, campaign analysis and pipeline support. Customer Success & Community Community engagement, attendee experience, feedback and customer journey improvements. Content & Social Media Content planning, social media, trends, repurposing and performance analysis. Newsletter & Ecosystem Editorial Research startup news and trends across the Nordic and European ecosystem and help turn them into stories worth sharing. Visual & Brand Work with social assets, campaign variations, templates and reusable brand systems.
What will you walk away with? By the end of the program, we want you to have something more valuable than a line on your CV. You’ll have developed practical skills in your chosen area, contributed to meaningful work, gained experience with professional tools and workflows, and have projects or outcomes you can speak about in future interviews or potentially include in your portfolio. Along the way, you’ll have access to mentoring, feedback, practical workshops and cross-team exposure across TechBBQ. Who should apply? We care more about curiosity, attitude and potential than a perfect CV. You might be studying, changing direction, or simply looking for hands-on experience in marketing, sales, content, community or design. No previous professional experience is required - just a willingness to learn, collaborate and take ownership.
The practical stuff Program: October 2026 – April 2027 Commitment: Around 11–15 hours per week, with occasional busier periods agreed in advance. Location: Copenhagen, DK and/or Hybrid
How to apply Apply through Teamtailor . We don’t need a traditional motivation letter. Instead, send us a short pitch: Why TechBBQ? Which track would you choose and why? What do you want to learn, build or become better at during the program? Show us what motivates you - not just what’s already on your CV!
