Engagement : Fl-time, minimum one (1) academic session (1 year), renewable based contract

About the Role

Tech-Savvy International (TSI) is recruiting experienced, hands-on Technical and Vocational Skills Training Specialists to lead a one-year, on-site capacity-building program in Colleges of Education across Taraba State. This is not a short workshop — it's a sustained, session-long engagement designed to build real, transferable digital and vocational skills in pre-service and in-service educators. We are looking for practitioners, not theorists — people who have done the work and can teach others to do it well.

Role Description

• Deliver structured technical, vocational, and digital skills training to educators and trainees on-site at assigned Colleges of Education throughout Taraba State

• Design and implement a full-session (minimum 1-year) curriculum that builds capacity progressively, not just one-off sessions

• Provide hands-on, practice-based instruction — not just theory — to ensure real skill transfer and classroom application

• Assess learner progress and adapt training delivery to close skill and implementation gaps

• Collaborate with college administration and TSI's program team to track outcomes and report on training impact

• Champion a culture of practical, outcome-driven vocational education

Who We're Looking For

• Must be based in or have strong local roots/familiarity with Taraba State

• Demonstrated hands-on practitioner experience in technical/vocational skills (not purely academic background)

• Proven training or facilitation experience, ideally in an educational or capacity-building setting

• Strong communication, classroom management, and adult-learning facilitation skills

• Self-driven, comfortable working on-site in a college environment for an extended period

• Committed to a full one-year engagement — this is a capacity-building role, not a short-term gig

Added Advantage (Not Mandatory)

• TRCN (Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria) license

• Relevant educational degree/certification in a technical or vocational field

• Prior experience training within tertiary or teacher-education institutions
