Electromechanical Site Engineer

You are an organizationally strong engineer who combines technical expertise with a pragmatic approach on-site.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience within industrial projects or construction environments.
• Experience within offshore, energy, or infrastructure projects is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary site environments (electrical, mechanical, and construction).
• Experience with Quality Control and/or Quality Assurance is a plus.
• In possession of a VCA VOL certificate or willing to obtain it.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and experience with technical reporting.
• Knowledge of document management systems such as Aconex is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a true team mentality.
• A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working attitude.
• A pronounced focus on safety, quality, and collaboration.
• Fluent knowledge of English. Dutch is a strong advantage.
• Work location: Vlissingen or Schiedam (Netherlands). Sporadic travel to the project office in Brussel.

As a Site Engineer, you support the site organization and contribute to a safe, high-quality, and efficient execution of the works.

• Supporting the Construction Manager in the daily follow-up of the site.
• Acting as the technical point of contact for engineering-related questions, with a focus on electromechanical installations.
• Monitoring safety and quality during all execution phases.
• Collaborating with various disciplines including mechanics, E&I, inspection, safety, and engineering.
• Coordinating and following up on site inspections.
• Technical analysis and follow-up of deviations, non-conformities, and improvement actions.
• Reviewing technical documentation and execution files.
• Supporting communication between site teams, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
• Managing and processing inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Coordinating external suppliers and technical partners active on the site.
• Supporting technical studies, optimizations, and cost-benefit analyses.
