Position Overview The Franchise & Business Development Specialist plays a key role in growing Teaspoon's franchise network across the United States. Teaspoon awards franchise licenses to qualified entrepreneurs and investors who want to open and operate Teaspoon locations. These business owners are known as Franchisees. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective franchisees through outbound calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and relationship building. The primary focus of this role is to generate qualified franchise leads, schedule discovery calls, support the franchise sales process, and help convert prospects into new Teaspoon franchise owners. Success in this role will be measured by the number of qualified leads generated, franchise meetings booked, applications received, and franchise agreements signed, directly contributing to the continued growth of the Teaspoon brand.
Job Responsibilities Identify and research qualified franchise prospects, investors, and multi-unit operators across the United States.
Build and manage a pipeline of prospective franchisees through outbound calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
Conduct high-volume cold outreach to generate interest in Teaspoon franchise opportunities.
Qualify leads based on Teaspoon's franchise requirements and investment criteria.
Schedule and coordinate franchise discovery calls and meetings with leadership.
Follow up with prospects throughout the franchise sales process to maintain engagement and move opportunities forward.
Maintain accurate records of all activities, communications, and opportunities within the CRM system.
Assist in promoting franchise opportunities through digital channels, events, and lead generation campaigns.
Build relationships with franchise brokers, business organizations, investor groups, and referral partners.
Monitor market trends and identify new franchise development opportunities.
Prepare weekly pipeline and performance reports, including lead generation, conversion rates, and sales activities.
Support the achievement of franchise growth goals by consistently generating qualified leads and franchise applications.

Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in sales, lead generation, business development, telemarketing, or customer acquisition.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Confident and professional phone presence with the ability to engage U.S.-based prospects.
Experience with cold calling, outbound sales, or appointment setting.
Strong persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Highly organized with excellent follow-up and time management abilities.
Comfortable using CRM systems, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet outreach and lead generation targets.
Preferred Qualifications Experience selling franchises, real estate, financial services, SaaS, or other high-value products/services.
Experience working with U.S.-based customers or businesses.
Familiarity with franchise sales, business investments, or entrepreneurship.
Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms.
Previous experience in business development, investor relations, or strategic partnerships.
