Financial Analyst Antofagasta

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join the Administration and Finance area of an important company in the industrial sector.

The selected person will be responsible for supporting the financial, accounting, and administrative management of the operation, ensuring reliable and timely information for decision-making. They will have a relevant role in controlling revenue, costs, expenses, budget, and profitability of the company's various projects.

Main functions:

• Manage and control supplier invoices, verifying their correct accounting imputation.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes.
• Perform reconciliations and account analysis, identifying and regularizing differences.
• Record and consult financial information using the ERP system.
• Create and maintain projects or Jobs in the system, ensuring the correct allocation of revenue, costs, and expenses.
• Analyze profitability, margins, and deviations for each project.
• Support monthly and annual financial closing processes.
• Participate in the preparation and monitoring of the budget and its projections.
• Prepare financial reports for the Administration and Finance Management and corporate teams.
• Support internal and external financial audits.
• Keep administrative backups and controls updated.

Requirements:

• Professional degree in Accounting, Auditing, Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in financial analysis, accounting, management control, or financial administration.
• Proficiency in ERP systems; experience in Microsoft Dynamics Navision will be valued.
• Intermediate or advanced Excel level.
• Intermediate English level.
• Availability to work on-site in Antofagasta.
• Availability to travel nationally or internationally when the operation requires it.
