To further expand our portfolio management, we are looking for a person who takes responsibility, helps build structures, and actively develops our procurement strategy for electricity, natural gas, and eco-certificates. You can expect a position with a lot of creative freedom and the opportunity to sustainably shape our processes.

Your Tasks:

• You actively help build our portfolio management and energy trading and design the associated processes.
• You procure electricity, natural gas, and eco-certificates (GHGs, VERs) on the exchange or in OTC trading.
• You optimize our procurement strategy and continuously develop it further.
• You observe and analyze energy markets, prices, and other relevant market data to make informed procurement decisions.
• You work closely with the departments of sales, billing, accounting, liquidity management, and software development, as well as our external service providers.
• You drive the automation and digitalization of our processes and actively contribute your ideas.
• You deal with future topics such as PPAs, e-mobility, photovoltaics, and wind energy and integrate them into portfolio management.
• You continuously develop the department and identify potential for optimization.
• You also undertake administrative tasks and ensure smooth operations.

Your Profile:

• You have a completed degree in the field of energy economics, business, finance, banking, or a comparable qualification.
• You have several years of professional experience in procurement, trading, or portfolio management for electricity and natural gas.
• You possess a license as a stock trader at the EEX/EPEX.
• You think strategically, analytically, and entrepreneurially and work in a process-oriented manner.
• Even in demanding situations, you maintain an overview and find pragmatic, solution-oriented approaches.
• You enjoy new challenges and want to develop further together with us.
• You have very good written and spoken English skills.
