Your Tasks: You make the difference with us.

• As a team member, you take responsibility for purchasing projects and activities, as well as the independent management of your product group and the associated suppliers in the categories of Coffee Machines and Water Dispensers.
• You actively and continuously tap into savings potential, work on procurement strategies to strengthen competitiveness, and continuously develop your product group as well as the supplier portfolio.
• You manage the performance of your suppliers through regular reviews and KPIs, develop them strategically, and initiate improvement measures. In doing so, you are also responsible for claims, escalations, as well as sustainable improvement regarding quality, costs, and delivery reliability.
• You are responsible for the entire operational and strategic procurement process – from participating in the creation of requirements through tenders, supplier qualification, and bid evaluation to negotiation, award decision, as well as contract implementation and contract lifecycle management.
• Requirements are coordinated with the specialist departments, both nationally and internationally. In doing so, you work closely with the buyers in the group and Tchibo GmbH on procurement projects.
• You actively cooperate with other departments such as Product Development/Marketing, Sales, Logistics, Technical Service, Quality Assurance, and the relevant areas of the sister company Tchibo GmbH.
• You monitor the procurement market, identify new suppliers, technologies, and innovations, and continuously develop your product group and your supplier portfolio.
• You participate in events, trade fairs, and exhibitions to stay up to date on market trends and to identify new suppliers, technologies, and innovations.

• You are open to change and want to help shape processes, structures, and digitalization independently.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in purchasing in comparable companies and demonstrable success in international purchasing distinguish you.
• You have a completed university degree (or equivalent) and/or corresponding commercial training with additional qualifications.
• Strong negotiation skills as well as a confident and convincing appearance are your strengths.
• You find it easy to organize yourself and your projects very well, are a strong communicator, and are highly analytical.
• Very good knowledge of using SAP and MS Office programs (especially Excel) as well as IT applications relevant to purchasing are part of your repertoire.
• Business fluent English completes your profile.
