Laboratory Instrumentation Supervisor

Location – Bedfordshire

Salary – £35-40,000 (D.O.E.) + bonus

Our client is a leading provider of laboratory instrumentation and is now seeking a Lab supervisor to take responsibility for their demonstration laboratory, including equipment maintenance, calibration and safety compliance.

The Role: Ensuring functional operation of the laboratory space and ensuring readiness for demonstration of equipment Maintaining and calibration of equipment Maintenance of laboratory health and safety documentation, COSHH and risk assessment Taking responsibility for laboratory consumables and stock management

The Requirements: Suitable applicants will have experience with: Maintenance of laboratory instrumentation and confidence in equipment calibration Prior experience working to laboratory H&S requirements and experience with COSHH assessments Comfortable in demonstrating equipment Able to problem-solve and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation Good organisational and communication skills

The Package: Our client offers a permanent position with a competitive salary of £35,000-£40,000 (based on experience) along with a generous bonus package based on achievement of KPI’s
