Assistant Accountant

T ax Consultants Business Consultants S.A., a company providing tax and accounting advisory services with a long-standing presence in the industry and based in Agios Stefanos, Attica, wishes to fill the position of Assistant Accountant for full-time employment. Main responsibilities: Entry of purchase invoices, expenses, revenues, receipts, and payments into double-entry books Monitoring and reconciliation of customer and supplier balances Monitoring of bank transactions and credit cards Reconciliation of bank accounts Preparation and submission of VAT, VIES, Intrastat, and withholding tax returns Continuous communication with clients and provision of advisory services Reporting Required Qualifications: Higher education degree (University / TEI) in economics - accounting direction 2 - 4 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an in-house accounting department or an accounting firm using double-entry bookkeeping Proficiency in the use of ERP systems, previous experience in using Atlantis or Softone accounting software will be appreciated Good knowledge of the English language Very good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Skills Organizational and communication skills Responsibility, consistency, and professionalism Effective time management skills Team spirit Benefits: Competitive compensation package depending on qualifications and experience Continuous training and development opportunities Participation in a group health insurance Pleasant and friendly working environment
