Tax Manager

Your tasks

Job Objective Direct, supervise, and ensure compliance with corporate restructurings through the correct interpretation and application of current tax provisions, strategic tax planning according to our clients' needs, and the optimization of the tax burden, minimizing tax risks and contingencies. Preparation and presentation of executive reports on the tax situation, risks, contingencies, and improvement opportunities derived from the analysis performed.

Requirements

Education Bachelor's degree in Contaduría Pública, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Preferably, a specialization, diploma, or master's degree in Taxes, Derecho Fiscal, or a related subject.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax and accounting areas.
• Experience in coordination or leadership of work teams.
• Experience in tax planning, tax compliance, and handling audits.
• Determination of the Tax Cost of Shares of legal entities.
• Having implemented and/or participated in a corporate restructuring.

Technical Knowledge

• Código Fiscal de la Federación.
• Ley del Impuesto sobre la Renta (LISR).
• Ley del Impuesto al Valor Agregado (LIVA).
• Current Resolución Miscelánea Fiscal.
• Normas de Información Financiera and accounting-tax reconciliation.
• CFDI, payment complements, declarations, and informative obligations.
• SAT Portal, buzón tributario, and tax procedures.
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems or accounting-tax software.
• Preferably knowing and being able to read international treaties and MLI.
• Calculating the tax cost of shares and preparing reports on the alienation of shares.
