Technical Lead – Microsoft Entra / Global Secure Access

Experienced Technical Lead for a client within the manufacturing industry in Södertälje.

Do you want to take technical overall responsibility for a platform that secures access to mission-critical applications? In this assignment, you will combine technical leadership with architecture, implementation, and advanced troubleshooting in a large IT environment.

About the assignment

You are responsible for designing, implementing, and further developing Microsoft Entra Global Secure Access, with a particular focus on Entra Private Access. A central part is leading the migration of internal applications from VPN to Zero Trust-based access.

You will work closely with product owners and teams within IAM, networking, client management, security, SOC, and application management.

Your tasks

• Responsible for the platform's technical design, capacity, and high availability, including Private Network Connectors and connector groups.
• Lead the connection and migration of internal applications to Entra Private Access.
• Configure access control with Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and device compliance.
• Monitor the platform and drive advanced troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Produce technical documentation, operating instructions, and support processes.
• Coordinate technical activities, support other engineers, and collaborate with Microsoft Support.

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience as a Technical Lead, Platform Lead, or Senior Engineer in larger organizations.
• Solid practical experience with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra Global Secure Access, Entra Private Access, or a similar ZTNA solution.
• Good knowledge of Conditional Access, MFA, and Zero Trust.
• Experience with connectors, redundancy, and high availability solutions.
• Strong understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, TLS, and HTTP/HTTPS.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender related to device identity and compliance.
• Experience in operating mission-critical services as well as incident and change management.
• Very good English in speech and writing.

Meritorious

Experience with ServiceNow or Jira, PIM and time-limited privileged access, security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST Zero Trust, as well as access solutions for both Windows and macOS.

You take responsibility, work in a structured manner, and make well-founded technical decisions. You are comfortable with both high-level architecture and detailed troubleshooting and can explain technical issues to different target groups.
