IT Technician

Your tasks

Do you want to work with practical IT support and be responsible for ensuring that offices and construction sites have a functioning IT environment? We are looking for an independent and service-oriented IT Technician for a consulting assignment based in Luleå, as well as on-site work in other locations in northern Sweden.

Your duties You will work with the establishment of IT environments, on-site support, and other second-line support. The role covers the entire lifecycle of the IT environment at offices and workplaces, from establishment and ongoing operation to decommissioning.

You will, among other things:

• Plan and coordinate the IT establishment of new offices and workplaces within your geographical area.
• Order network connections and network solutions (WAN/LAN), printers, and other IT solutions for offices.
• Coordinate supplier contacts as well as install and configure equipment.
• Provide on-site support for computer workstations, networks, office solutions, telephony, and end-user services.
• Handle incidents and service requests as part of second-line support.
• Coordinate local IT deliveries and act as a superuser for selected services and components.
• Maintain information about workplaces and configuration items (CI).
• Provide advice and guidance to the business regarding IT services and working methods.
• Collaborate with other support groups and contribute to joint deliveries according to established service processes.

Other related tasks within the role may also occur.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have

• At least three years of experience in technical IT work and support.
• Education in IT or another relevant field.
• Experience from one or more similar assignments.
• Broad IT knowledge as well as knowledge of ITIL and IT service management systems.
• The ability to independently plan and execute your work as well as take responsibility for defined tasks.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and fluent English.
• A driver's license and access to your own car.
