Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide day-to-day IT support, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth and reliable IT operations, including laptops, desktops, internet, network, printers, telephone lines, modems, employee access cards, fingerprint/biometric systems, and other IT equipment.
  • Provide support for ERP applications and transactions, analyze and resolve user issues, and coordinate with the Global/Group IT team when escalation is required. Conduct training and provide support to dealers for CRM applications.
  • Work closely with functional and operational teams to understand their IT needs and provide practical and effective solutions.
  • Coordinate and communicate regularly with Global/Group IT teams, to troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and system-related issues, ensuring proper follow-up until resolution.
  • Proactively monitor IT systems, end-user devices, and IT security to ensure compliance with Global IT standards and policies, while identifying and preventing potential issues before they affect business operations.
  • Manage IT infrastructure, data center-related activities, IT resources, hardware, and software, including data processing, data entry, data control, position/language configuration, and tape library activities as applicable.
  • Evaluate and recommend suitable hardware, software, and IT solutions to improve system capabilities and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain proper IT documentation and prepare reports and presentations as required.
  • Coordinate with IT vendors for technical support, maintenance, and other IT-related services.
  • Take full ownership of IT issues by proactively identifying problems, performing root-cause analysis, implementing solutions, and following up until issues are properly resolved.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-6 years of relevant experience in IT Support, IT Infrastructure, IT Operations, or a related field.
  • Good hands-on knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, networking, troubleshooting, ERP/CRM applications, and IT security.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently and provide practical solutions.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and solution-oriented, with strong ownership and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, respond to urgent issues, and follow through until resolution.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with Global/Group IT teams.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, coordination, and follow-up skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical users.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working with a multinational company or regional/global IT team is preferred.
  • Experience supporting ERP/CRM applications and working with automotive, manufacturing, distribution, or dealer networks is an advantage.
