Your tasks

Description

  • Define the overall test strategy, scope, approach, estimates, and execution plan.
  • Establish testing entry and exit criteria across all test phases.
  • Lead SIT, UAT, End-to-End, Regression, and production verification testing.
  • Manage testing across SAS processing, source systems, data warehouses, Finance Data Marts, General Ledger, and reporting layers.
  • Ensure complete coverage of financial calculations, transformations, aggregations, reconciliations, and reporting controls.
  • Coordinate test-data preparation and environment readiness.
  • Manage test execution, progress tracking, defects, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Lead defect-triage meetings and drive timely resolution of critical and high-priority defects.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Business, Business Analysts, Developers, Data Engineers, Architects, Operations, and Vendors.
  • Track testing KPIs, defect metrics, execution progress, and quality trends.
  • Provide clear status reporting to project governance and senior stakeholders.
  • Manage onsite and offshore test teams and ensure delivery accountability.
  • Support UAT planning, business-user coordination, and sign-off.
  • Assess release readiness and provide go-live recommendations.
  • Support deployment, production verification, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, reusable test assets, and standardized data-validation approaches.

Requirements

Must have

  • Strong experience in Finance, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, or Data Warehouse testing.
  • Experience managing SAS, ETL, data migration, reconciliation, and report-validation testing.
  • Proven experience managing SIT, UAT, End-to-End, Regression, and production verification testing.
  • Strong understanding of source-to-target validation, transformation rules, aggregation, and financial reconciliation.

Good to have

  • Experience managing test resources, schedules, risks, dependencies, defects, and quality metrics.
  • Strong stakeholder, vendor, and senior-management communication skills.
  • Experience working with onsite and offshore testing teams.
