Part 21 Quality Inspector M/F in CDI for our Cugnaux (31) site

You will join an operational activity closest to the aircraft, in a demanding aeronautical environment, primarily oriented towards the Airbus A320 family of aircraft.

You will intervene in storage/FRC activities, paint preparation or return, as well as on ramp operations related to aircraft reception and flight or run preparation.

As a Quality Inspector M/F, you will be the guarantor of the conformity of operations carried out within your technical scope.

Your future challenges during your onboarding with us:

  • Control of operations: Ensure the supervision and verification of assembly and maintenance operations carried out by the teams and attest to their quality.
  • Troubleshooting and technical inspections: Perform diagnostics (before/after flight, before/after run), inspection and measurement of products and equipment according to customer specifications and requirements.
  • Conformity verification and NC management: verify the conformity of Work Orders and associated documents, report observed anomalies and contribute to the processing of non-conformities, deviations, and rework.
  • Certification and traceability: ensure the traceability of controlled operations, enter anomalies into the dedicated tool and actively participate in quality monitoring.
  • Quality, Safety and Continuous Improvement: Respect safety instructions, use protective equipment, apply SMS (Safety Management System) rules, promote workplace safety and contribute to the continuous improvement process.

A specialized position, with a global vision of the aircraft

The position will initially be oriented towards your main specialty: mechanics/structure or electrical/avionics. As part of our quality organization, you will then be supported towards complementary skill development, in order to eventually develop a more global vision of the aircraft. The objective is to progressively build supervised versatility, depending on your career path, your progress, and operational needs.

Your profile

You hold a CQPM Inspecteur Qualité or a training of type Bac +2 with an industrial or technical focus.

You have proven experience in a similar position in the aeronautical sector. Initial experience on aircraft, in a ramp or live aircraft environment, would be strongly appreciated.

You have skills in mechanics, maintenance and/or aeronautical electricity, in avionics systems and reading technical documentation.

A good knowledge of the Airbus environment, notably WO, SOI and associated documentary requirements, would be a real asset.

The use of tools such as SAP, AIRNAV, ESAO, ALB, CDIS, as well as TSM and aircraft software configuration / download tools, would also be appreciated.

Mastery of technical English, especially in reading and understanding documentation, is indispensable.

Beyond the career path, we are primarily looking for a person who is rigorous, autonomous, organized, attentive to detail, comfortable in an operational environment and capable of communicating with production, quality, and technical support.

Profiles coming from aeronautical production or maintenance (such as test technicians), possessing a strong quality mindset and wishing to evolve towards an inspection role, may also be considered.
