A leading player in aircraft lifecycle professions, TARMAC Aerosave, located in France and Spain, is the #1 group in Europe for Aircraft Storage, a major player in maintenance, and the #1 global group for green aircraft recycling.

TARMAC Aerosave is a committed company: for its customers, for the environment, but also towards its employees, through the promotion of professional equality and non-discrimination (equal treatment, equal opportunity, diversity of career paths). To support the group's growth and challenges, TARMAC Aerosave is looking for a Part 21 Team Leader M/F in CDI, at our Cugnaux (31) site.

Reporting to the Operational Leader, you will provide close supervision to a team of aeronautical mechanics within a defined PART 21 scope of activities.

As a true field liaison, you will organize the daily execution of aircraft activities, guarantee respect for operational priorities, and support teams in the correct application of safety, quality, documentation, and performance standards.

Your future challenges during your onboarding with us:

  • Planning and steering: Organize the team's daily activity, distribute tasks to mechanics, monitor work progress, and adjust field organization according to unforeseen events.
  • Human resources management: Contribute to the onboarding of newcomers, the skill development of the team, and the identification of training or qualification needs.
  • Technical support: Provide technical support to mechanics and ensure they have the tools and means necessary for the proper execution of aircraft tasks.
  • Communication and coordination: Act as the reference contact between your team, the Operational Leader, Quality Inspectors, technical support, and logistics. Participate in the follow-up of open operational points, field customer requests, and associated action plans.
  • Quality, safety, and compliance: Ensure that work is ready for quality controls, that anomalies or difficulties encountered are correctly reported, and that instructions, aircraft standards, HSE rules, SMS, FOD, PPE, and documentary requirements are properly applied.

Crew expectations:

  • Coming from a Bac Pro to Bac+2 training in aeronautical maintenance, aeronautical production, mechanics, avionics, or equivalent, you have at least 5 years of experience as an aeronautical technician.
  • You have solid experience on aircraft, ideally with management functions, in a PART 21, FAL, aircraft production, operational quality, or aeronautical maintenance environment. Knowledge of AIRBUS would be an asset.
  • You are recognized for your rigor, your sense of organization, your ability to support teams, and your aptitude to manage priorities in a demanding operational environment.
  • You have a sense of teamwork, know how to communicate with different stakeholders, and use tracking/traceability tools to maintain clear reporting to your Operational Leader.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken technical English is necessary, particularly for reading documentation and operational exchanges related to aircraft activity.

The little TARMAC extras that make the difference:

  • Annual bonus (equivalent to a 13th month)
  • Profit-sharing and participation agreements
  • Group health insurance
  • Restaurant vouchers
  • Transport allowance
  • Geographical mobility assistance
  • Works Council benefits (discounts, cinema, group orders, etc.)
