Your Tasks

• Analyze, expand, and develop new software systems and applications in a heterogeneous, complex IT system environment based on IBM-Mainframe architecture
• Design and implementation of application solutions for the bank
• Software development with COBOL, JCL, SQL for mainframe software for online (IMS, CICS) and batch processes
• Conceptualization and design of data models and database tables
• Coordination of tasks, including those of offshore colleagues
• Modeling of DB2 tables using tools such as Power Designer, VISIO, and others

Your Profile

• Completed studies in practical / applied computer science or training as a Fachinformatiker (f/m/d)
• Experience in the mainframe environment and software – conceptualization, including database – modeling and tuning
• Knowledge in the application of algorithms and data structures
• Practical experience with the use of structured programming, ideally in COBOL
• Practical experience with database performance analysis and optimization, preferably DB2
• Knowledge in handling software interfaces TSO / ISPF, IBM Rational Developer Z/OS, or similar
• Good English skills, German and/or French skills are an advantage
