Sourcing Manager

Job Purpose Lead and manage strategic sourcing activities for local and international suppliers, ensuring competitive cost, reliable supply, quality, and compliance with the company’s procurement strategy and policies. Key Responsibilities Scout, identify, evaluate, and develop new local and international sources in line with the overall Procurement Strategy.

Develop and implement effective sourcing and category management strategies to achieve cost optimization and sustainable supply solutions.

Conduct cost comparisons, scenario analysis, benchmarking, and price-breakdown analysis to support sourcing decisions and negotiations.

Lead supplier negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, favorable commercial terms, quality standards, and reliable delivery.

Continuously optimize sourcing procedures and processes to improve efficiency, competitiveness, and cost effectiveness.

Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Production, R&D, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain , to ensure alignment on sourcing requirements, terms, and processes in accordance with Procurement Policy.

Identify, assess, and mitigate sourcing and supplier-related risks , including supply continuity, cost volatility, capacity, quality, and dependency risks.

Identify and establish partnerships with reliable and strategically suitable suppliers and vendors .

Evaluate supplier capabilities, commercial competitiveness, financial stability, capacity, quality, and track record.

Maintain and develop a strong and diversified supplier base to reduce dependency and improve supply continuity.

Monitor market trends, commodity prices, supplier developments, and international sourcing opportunities to identify potential savings and alternative sources.

Lead supplier development and performance improvement initiatives in cooperation with relevant stakeholders.

Ensure proper documentation and compliance of sourcing activities with approved procurement policies and procedures.

Prepare sourcing reports, supplier analysis, cost-saving reports, and management presentations as required.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field .

8–12 years of relevant experience in sourcing, strategic procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably within a manufacturing environment .

Strong experience in local and international sourcing .

Proven experience in supplier scouting, evaluation, negotiation, and development .

Strong knowledge of cost analysis, price breakdown, benchmarking, and category management .

Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Good understanding of procurement policies, processes, and supplier risk management.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Good command of English , written and spoken.

Practical experience with ERP/procurement systems is preferred.

Strong proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis .
