Senior Desktop Support / EUC Engineer

Our banking client is seeking an experienced SeniorDesktop / Systems Engineer to provide high‑performance end‑user, and systems support to desktop and servers infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring stability, speed,and reliability across front‑office environments, where low latency, rapid issue resolution, and strong stakeholder communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on desktop, EUC and software support for banking users
• Perform incident management, root‑cause analysis, and timely escalation for critical issues.
• Ensure high availability of desktop and systems infrastructure to end users
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams to provide high availabile services
• Support patching, upgrades, deployments, and configuration management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in desktop engineering, systems engineering, or end‑user support within banking or financial markets.
• Good working knowledge of Active Directory,Group Policy and user administration
• Experience supporting Ms Office, Office365, Teams andSharePoint
• Ability to troubleshoot desktop, laptop, mobiledevice and peripheral issues
• Good understanding of networking fundamentalsincluding TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and Wi‑Fi
• Ability to troubleshoot complex, time‑sensitive issues under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management across front‑office and technology teams.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a proactive, service‑oriented approach.
