Contract - Data Implementation Engineer

Your tasks

Business Data Analysis & Requirements Management

• Collaborate with Business Unit Specialists to elicit, review, and validate business requirements for data-related projects
• Perform impact assessments and analyze "to-be" business and operational processes to align with agreed requirements
• Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements that support business objectives
• Monitor and manage risks and issues related to requirements and scope creep to maintain project integrity
• Assess and estimate impacts of project change requests to inform decision-making

Functional Design & Solution Alignment

• Transition clear and complete requirements to System Analysts to ensure accurate solution design
• Maintain traceability between functional specifications and business requirements to support project transparency

Testing

• Review test plans and functional test scopes prepared by the testing team to ensure coverage of requirements
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by prioritizing, tracking, and resolving defects

Requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Over 10 years of business analysis experience with a proven track record in delivering data-related projects
• Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries to support data profiling and validation activities
• Skilled in data mapping and transformation to ensure accurate data flow and integration
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts to support data analysis and solution design
• Advanced skills in MS Excel (including Macros) and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting
• Experienced in change management and project management fundamentals to drive project success
• Effective team player with leadership capabilities to foster collaboration and resolve complex issues
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Confident presenter capable of explaining complex topics clearly and effectively
• Resilient and diligent with the ability to work through ambiguity and deliver results under pressure

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and JIRA to support agile project environments
• Proficient in SharePoint for document management and collaboration
• Good data analysis skills to interpret and present data insights
