YOUR MISSION

You make our systems run - out in the field. Where theory meets reality. Where things are often different than planned. You ensure that our technology works under real-world conditions.

Your Tasks

• Execution of international site deployments (high willingness to travel - short, but frequent)
• Implementation of pilot projects under real operating conditions - from initial installation to stable commissioning
• Installation, integration, and commissioning of hardware and communication systems, including training and handover to local partners
• Construction and integration of networks, data connections, and remote access
• Execution of splicing work, OTDR measurements, and technical analyses
• Independent analysis and sustainable troubleshooting of technical faults in the field
• Technical problem-solving under real, non-ideal conditions
• Coordination with customers and project partners on-site as well as ensuring feasibility (infrastructure, access, framework conditions)
• Taking on project management tasks within the scope of pilot projects
• Know-how transfer to customers and partners
• Feedback on problems, deviations, and potential for improvement to R&D

What you bring

• HTL or degree in the field of Mechatronics, IT, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or Technical Computer Science
• Several years of practical experience in the installation, integration, and commissioning of network and communication systems
• Experience in handling fiber optic technologies (splicing, measurement technology)
• Experience in the construction and troubleshooting of IP-based networks under real operating conditions
• Several years of site experience with active operational implementation (not just planning)
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to roll up your sleeves
• Sound experience in project management or in the coordination of technical projects, ideally in the context of pilot projects, prototyping, or early rollout phases
• Knowledge of Routing, Switching, and Remote Access is an advantage
• High problem-solving competence under non-ideal conditions
• Ability to convey technical know-how in an understandable way
• High willingness to travel and good English skills
