Senior C++ Developer - Back-End (M/F)

TalenX is recruiting a Senior Backend Developer for one of its clients!

Our client is a digital postal operator offering a mail dematerialization solution, specifically Electronic Registered Letters. The company is labeled as an Innovative Enterprise. The share capital is held by a majority of individual shareholders and controlled by its managers under the direction of its founder.

This company was born from several observations such as the democratization of IT equipment, the Plan France Numérique 2012 which aims for 100% internet access for all French citizens by that horizon, and an increasing presence of dematerialization (tax returns online, carte vitale, payslips..).

The opening of the postal market also contributed to the idea of creating this disruptive innovation: the Electronic Registered Letter.

The position:

We are looking for a Senior Back-End Developer to design, develop, and maintain its web and mobile applications. Reporting to the Development Team Lead, you will intervene in the entire development cycle, from requirements analysis to production deployment. You will specifically ensure the performance, security, and scalability of the solutions. You will work in collaboration with the product, sales, UX/UI, and infrastructure teams, on various projects and technical environments within the group.

YOUR MAIN MISSIONS

1. Development and maintenance

• Design, develop, and deploy web and mobile applications.
• Ensure the integration and interconnection of services using REST APIs.
• Implement and optimize relational databases.
• Maintain and evolve existing code while guaranteeing its robustness.
• Write technical documentation and user guides.

1. Performance, quality, and security

• Improve the performance and scalability of applications.
• Apply security best practices, particularly regarding authentication and data protection.
• Guarantee the compliance of developments with PSSI standards, norms, and requirements.
• Perform unit, integration, and performance tests.
• Identify technical difficulties and propose suitable solutions.

1. Collaboration and continuous improvement

• Work using Scrum agile methodology with product and design teams.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural decisions.
• Contribute to the improvement of development methods and processes.
• Maintain regular technological watch and propose evolutions.
• Intervene on various group projects, with varied environments and frameworks.

Profile sought:

• You hold a degree at the Bac +3 to Bac +5 level in computer science.
• You have more than five years of experience in development, particularly on full-stack projects.
• YOU MUST MASTER THE C++ LANGUAGE.
• You have already worked with agile methodologies.
• You master technical English.
• You know how to analyze needs, qualify requests, and solve complex technical problems.
• You are autonomous, rigorous, versatile, and able to adapt to different environments.
• You enjoy teamwork and have good written and oral communication skills.
• You demonstrate discretion and professionalism.
