Software Quality Engineer

Job Responsibilities Drive software quality and Quality Engineering (QE) practices within an Agile development environment.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product quality and alignment with acceptance criteria.

Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, testing frameworks, regression suites and test environments.

Perform manual and automated functional, exploratory, cross-platform and performance testing across iOS, Android and web platforms.

Identify edge cases and testing gaps, and improve overall test coverage.

Conduct system integration testing with external systems and prepare test reports.

Develop and maintain automated testing solutions using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium or Cucumber.

Collaborate with development teams on Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Explore and implement improvements to testing processes and tools.

Job Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality engineering, software testing or a related role.

Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, with good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium or Cucumber.

Knowledge of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).

Experience in non-functional testing, including security, performance and load testing.

Good understanding of mobile and web technologies, including iOS, Android, React Native, React.js and Node.js.

Strong knowledge of JavaScript unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha or Jasmine.

Good communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to improving testing practices.

Software Quality Assurance certification is an advantage.
