Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer

Job Responsibilities Plan, develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and security services for application systems.

Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS in compliance with government security requirements.

Provide technical guidance to application teams on infrastructure and security architecture.

Strengthen infrastructure security, monitoring and operational resilience.

Manage infrastructure incidents, service requests, security patching and operational issues.

Oversee vendors in cloud infrastructure setup, maintenance and security operations.

Conduct security assessments, audits and remediation of audit findings.

Support DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.

Ensure compliance with government ICT security policies and conduct security awareness training.

Job Requirements Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.

Minimum 3 years of experience in infrastructure or security project management and support.

At least 2 years of experience in application design and deployment across cloud and on-premises environments.

Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC and IAM.

Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, server security and data centre environments.

Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD, DevOps and automated security testing.

Knowledge of cloud security frameworks, CIS benchmarks or government ICT security standards.

AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect Associate or DevOps Engineer are an advantage.

Experience with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) is preferred.
