Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities Lead data governance, data protection and data security initiatives through research, impact analysis and continuous improvement.

Plan and conduct data security risk assessments and personal data protection activities.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to establish secure and compliant data sharing arrangements.

Support data incident management and enterprise data risk management activities.

Develop and promote data standards, policies, frameworks, processes and guidelines.

Act as the key liaison for data protection and security-related queries with business units and government agencies.

Integrate data protection, privacy and security requirements into day-to-day business processes.

Track programme outcomes, success metrics and drive continuous improvement.

Job Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Business Management, Law, Information Management, Cybersecurity or a related discipline.

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in data governance, data protection, data security, information management, risk assessment or IT/business audits.

Experience in developing data policies, standards, frameworks, processes or guidelines.

Experience in data incident management, data modelling or information lifecycle management is advantageous.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical or governance requirements to business users.

Strong project/programme management and collaboration skills.

Relevant professional certifications in data governance, data protection, cybersecurity, data privacy or related areas are advantageous.

Experience with Singapore Government IM8 policies or government data/cybersecurity environments is an advantage.
