Specialist Neurosurgeon

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled specialist neurosurgeon to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in diagnosing and surgically managing neurological conditions involving the brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions.

Perform appropriate neurosurgical procedures based on patient needs.

Manage conditions involving the brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system.

Conduct preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.

Provide comprehensive postoperative care and monitor patient recovery.

Manage neurosurgical emergencies and trauma cases when required.

Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, intensivists, oncologists, and other specialists.

Interpret relevant neurological imaging and diagnostic investigations.

Maintain accurate clinical and surgical records.

Counsel patients and families regarding treatment options, procedures, risks, and recovery.

Qualifications & Requirements

MBBS or equivalent medical degree.

MS/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in neurosurgery.

Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.

Strong clinical and surgical skills in neurosurgery.

Experience managing complex neurosurgical cases.

Excellent decision-making and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
