System Consultant / Senior System Consultant
Location: Singapore Employment Type: 3 years direct contract with possibility to be converted Experience: Relevant systems/infrastructure experience About the Role We are looking for a System Consultant / Senior System Consultant to support the implementation, deployment, and operation of enterprise systems in customer environments. You will work closely with customers, engineering teams, and technology partners to deliver reliable and secure solutions. Key Responsibilities Deploy, configure, maintain, and support systems and infrastructure solutions . Troubleshoot incidents and technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive issues to resolution. Conduct system testing, validation, and customer acceptance activities. Monitor system performance and support maintenance, upgrades, and changes. Work with customers, partners, and internal engineering teams to resolve technical issues. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, incident reports, and user guides . Collaborate with Project Managers and global engineering teams on system implementation and deployment. Contribute to technical proposals, solution design, and engineering estimates when required. Participate in standby/on-call and after-hours support when required.
Requirements Relevant experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, IT Operations, or Systems Integration . Strong understanding of Linux and/or Windows environments , with Linux experience preferred. Good knowledge of networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, routing, and switching . Experience with network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark is an advantage. Experience supporting enterprise systems, infrastructure, or production environments. Familiarity with scripting or automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar tools. Experience with monitoring, system maintenance, performance troubleshooting, and incident management. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or SharePoint is an advantage. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Advantageous Skills Experience with one or more of the following is an advantage: Cloud, containers, or Kubernetes Databases and data platforms Kafka or distributed systems Ansible or other automation tools Docker, Helm, or ArgoCD Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases Active Directory or LDAP For Senior System Consultant Senior candidates should demonstrate stronger technical ownership and autonomy , including: Leading complex technical investigations and system issues. Performing root-cause analysis across multiple systems or technical domains. Assessing system dependencies, technical risks, and potential impacts.
