Senior Early Intervention Teacher

About the role This role involves conducting admissions, screenings and initial assessments for new clients, and planning and implementing individualized, evidence-based intervention programmes and IEPs. You will monitor and document students' developmental, learning and behavioural progress, and implement appropriate classroom, behavioural, social and emotional interventions. You will maintain accurate case notes, student records and progress reports, and communicate regularly with parents on students' progress and development. Plan and implement individualized, evidence-based intervention programmes and IEPs

Monitor and document students' developmental, learning and behavioural progress

Implement appropriate classroom, behavioural, social and emotional interventions

Maintain accurate case notes, student records and progress reports

Communicate regularly with parents on students' progress and development

Collaborate with Allied Health Professionals including Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists and Psychologists

Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and meetings

Mentor and guide junior Early Intervention Teachers in lesson planning, classroom management and intervention strategies

Support the onboarding and training of new teachers

Location and Working Hours Location: Tampines, East Region 5 days per week: 4 weekdays + 1 weekend day Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Saturday or Sunday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM Weekend: 1-hour paid lunch break (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM) Requirements Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs), Early Childhood Education, Special Education or equivalent

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working with children with developmental, learning and/or behavioural needs

Knowledge of AEPS is compulsory

Prior experience in an Early Intervention or Special Education setting

Experience mentoring or coaching junior teachers/staff is an advantage

Strong communication, organizational and classroom management skills

Able to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Strong command of English
