Assistant Teacher [East] #EC

Job Summary

We are looking for an Assistant Teacher to support the Pre Nursery class in an early childhood education centre located in the East area. The successful candidate will assist the teaching team in providing a safe, caring and engaging environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in the daily care and supervision of children
• Support the implementation of classroom activities and learning experiences
• Assist with classroom routines, hygiene, meals and other daily activities
• Ensure the classroom environment is clean, safe and well organised
• Provide support to children according to their individual needs
• Work closely with the teaching team to maintain a positive learning environment
• Assist with other duties related to the daily operations of the centre

Requirements

• ACEY certification is preferred
• Candidates without ACEY may be considered if they have strong and relevant experience in early childhood education
• Experience working with young children, particularly in a Pre Nursery environment, will be an advantage
• Caring, patient and responsible
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willing to learn and support the teaching team
