Our client, an INTERNATIONAL SME SPECIALIZING IN ELECTRONICS, is recruiting for its 20-PERSON R&D TEAM.
You will work on the DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF EMBEDDED SOFTWARE, with a particular focus on WEB FRONTEND interfaces deployed on REAL-TIME OS systems.
YOUR MISSIONS:
- Write SOFTWARE SPECIFICATIONS with the software and hardware teams,
- Compile TECHNICAL JUSTIFICATION FILES regarding architecture choices, software standards, and safety issues,
- Study and define the EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ARCHITECTURE ON REAL-TIME OS, in multiprocessor environments integrating microcontrollers, DSP, and FPGA,
- Design, develop, refine, and deploy NEW EMBEDDED SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS,
- Perform PROTOTYPING, TESTING, VALIDATION, AND PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION of applications,
- Intervene on all or part of the development cycle, from design to production,
- Guarantee compliance with PROJECT DEADLINES AND COMMITMENTS,
- Ensure REGULAR REPORTING to the R&D Manager.
TECHNICAL STACK:
- REAL-TIME OS: Green Hills Operating System (Integrity), U Boot,
- PROCESSOR ARCHITECTURES: ARM Cortex-A / Cortex-M, NXP i.MX8 series,
- EMBEDDED SYSTEMS and multiprocessor environments,
- CYBERSECURITY AND SECURING EMBEDDED SYSTEMS,
- SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS, notably DO-178,
- Knowledge of DIGITAL COMPONENTS: processors, microcontrollers, FPGA, memories, fast converters, etc...,
- Knowledge of ANALOG COMPONENTS.
PREREQUISITES:
- MASTER'S DEGREE (BAC +5) in Computer Science or ENGINEERING DEGREE,
- 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN WEB FRONTEND DEVELOPMENT (INCLUDING APPRENTICESHIPS)
- Initial experience in EMBEDDED SOFTWARE WITH A REAL-TIME OS,
- You are ELIGIBLE FOR DEFENSE CONFIDENTIALITY CLEARANCE.
HARD-SKILLS:
- Solid culture in EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT, capable of intervening in both architecture issues and the development, testing, and validation of solutions,
- You enjoy R&D environments, complex technical issues, and working in close collaboration with software and hardware teams,
- WEB FRONTEND programming (REACTJS, VITE/CRA, JAVASCRIPT, TYPESCRIPT, MUI, TAILWIND CSS...),
- C/C++ PROGRAMMING IN THE EMBEDDED FIELD (Qt, embedded Linux, FreeRTOS, ...)
- Mastery of the SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS (AGILE, Iterative and Incremental Method, V-Cycle ...)
- ENGLISH: Technical and C1 level REQUIRED (WRITTEN/ORAL).
