We are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Accountant (M/F) on a permanent contract (CDI) based in Paris for our client.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager and the France CFO, you will join a human-sized accounting team and actively contribute to the reliability of accounts payable in an international context.

Your missions

On a daily basis, you will take charge of the entire accounts payable cycle and participate in the smooth running of the accounting function.

In this capacity, you will specifically intervene on:

• The control, recording, and monitoring of supplier invoices (merchandise and overheads),
• The processing of billing discrepancies and the management of disputes with internal and external stakeholders,
• The matching, justification, and reconciliation of accounts payable,
• Participation in payment runs and cash flow monitoring,
• The control of point-of-sale cash registers,
• Monthly, semi-annual, and annual closing tasks,
• The monitoring and analysis of data via SAP and Excel,
• Regular exchanges with French and international teams in English.

You will evolve in a collaborative environment where rigor, reactivity, and team spirit are essential.

With a higher education background in accounting (minimum Bac+2), you have at least 5 years of experience in accounts payable or subsidiary accounting.

It is imperative that you have worked within a retail or luxury player, which has allowed you to develop a good mastery of issues related to store networks and merchandise flows.

You are recognized for your rigor, your sense of organization, and your ability to manage large volumes of invoices while respecting deadlines.

You are proficient in SAP, comfortable with Excel, and possess professional English, allowing you to communicate in writing and occasionally orally with international stakeholders.
