Maritime Import Supervisor M/F

TALENTS ADV-SUPPLY, a national recruitment firm specialized in ADV, Sales Assistance, Import/Export, Customer Relations, Logistics, Transport, Purchasing, and Supply Chain professions.

You will join a Group specialized in International Logistics. Your missions are as follows:

• Supervise and lead the team and ensure back-up during absences (4 employees)
• Analyze costs to optimize the profitability and efficiency of the department
• Research and propose new methods to improve the efficiency of transit operations
• Perform agent quotations: You negotiate transport conditions, organize transport (pre/post-carriage), and manage relations with carriers. You select new suppliers based on customer needs. You invoice the file in compliance with deadlines and rates.
• Apply the quality system and business procedures, and record non-conformities and customer complaints. If necessary, you trigger/propose corrective/preventive compliance actions.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Degree level Bac+3/5 in customs or transport.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience at an industrial company or a freight forwarder in a similar position.
• With a dynamic temperament, you demonstrate rigor in your work, you have good interpersonal skills, and you pay particular attention to customer satisfaction.
• You master the Office pack and knowledge of Cargowise is a plus.
• You have a good level of English.
• You have an appetite for supporting employees.
• You have a real appetite for numbers and are comfortable with reporting/management tools.

• Remuneration: 44-45 ke over 13 months
