Maritime Transit Agent - English M/F

We support companies and candidates through Recruitment and Interim services specialized in the ADV and Supply Chain sectors.

TALENTS ADV-SUPPLY, a national recruitment firm specialized in ADV, Sales Assistance, Import/Export, Customer Relations, Logistics, Transport, Purchasing, and Supply Chain professions.

You will join a Group specialized in International Logistics. Your missions are as follows:

• TRANSPORT ORGANIZATION including monitoring client instructions, documentary control, and checking merchandise compliance in respect of regulations. You set up the import/export operational file in compliance with management rules, transmit the file to the customs department, and send the necessary documents to clients.
• QUOTATION: You perform quotations for in-house agents and clients.
• QUALITY: You apply the quality system and business procedures, and you record non-conformities and customer complaints. If necessary, you trigger/propose corrective/preventive compliance actions.
• You negotiate transport conditions, organize transport (pre/post-carriage), and manage relations with carriers.
• You select new suppliers based on client needs.
• You invoice the file in compliance with deadlines and rates. If necessary, you make reservations in compliance with current procedures.

YOUR PROFILE:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a maritime transit agent.
• Transport of goods by sea (Export/Import, Cross Trade, and Door-to-Door).
• Good mastery of the Cargowise software would be a plus.
• Mastery of multimodal transport, port tools, and excellent knowledge of the maritime environment.
• Good level of English (spoken and written), mastery of Excel.
• With a dynamic temperament, you demonstrate rigor in your work, you have good interpersonal skills, and you pay particular attention to customer satisfaction.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Position to be filled in CDI, quickly.
• Remuneration: 29-32 ke over 13 months.
