HR Generalist
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
Manage end-to-end recruitment for production operators, technicians, engineers, warehouse staff, and office roles
Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements (production lines, distribution, logistics)
Source candidates through job portals, agencies, and local networks
Conduct initial screening, interviews, and facilitate hiring decisions
Ensure timely deployment of manpower to meet production target
- Employee Relations & Engagement
Serve as the primary HR contact for employee concerns across factory and office
Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in line with company policy
Promote a positive work environment, especially in high-pressure production settings
Organize employee engagement activities, toolbox meetings, and HR orientations
- Timekeeping, Payroll & Benefits Administration
Oversee attendance tracking, shift scheduling, and overtime monitoring (common in manufacturing)
Coordinate payroll processing including:
Overtime pay
Night differential
Holiday pay
Administer government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
Manage leave tracking and ensure compliance with labor laws
- Compliance & Labor Relations
Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and occupational safety standards
Maintain proper documentation (contracts, 201 files, disciplinary records)
Assist in DOLE audits, inspections, and report submissions
Implement company policies and ensure adherence across operations
- Training & Development
Identify training needs for technical roles (e.g., electronics assembly, quality control, equipment handling)
Coordinate onboarding programs for new hires (especially production workers)
Support skills training, certification programs, and upskilling initiatives
Monitor employee performance and assist in evaluations
- Performance Management
Support implementation of KPI systems for:
Production staff efficiency
Warehouse productivity
Technical team performance
Assist managers in performance reviews and improvement plans
Track probationary evaluations and regularization
- Health, Safety & Workplace Standards
Coordinate with Safety Officers on:
OSH compliance
Safety trainings and drills
Incident reports and investigations
Promote a culture of safety in factory and warehouse environments
Ensure employees are equipped with proper PPE
- HR Administration & Documentation
Maintain and update employee records (201 files)
Prepare HR reports (headcount, attrition, hiring status)
Draft memos, notices, and HR communications
Support contract renewals and manpower documentation
- Support to Operations & Logistics
Work closely with production and supply chain teams to ensure manpower availability
Monitor staffing levels during peak production or delivery cycles
Assist in workforce adjustments (reassignment, shifting schedules)
- Vendor & Agency Coordination (if applicable)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
Knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws and HR practices
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word); experience with HRIS is an advantage
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Minimum Experience
2–3 years HR experience as a Generalist or in multiple HR functions
Background in manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment is advantage
Experience handling:
End-to-end recruitment (especially volume hiring for production roles)
Employee relations & disciplinary processes
Timekeeping, payroll coordination, and benefits administration
Exposure to shift-based operations and high-volume workforce is an advantage
