SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

Your tasks

Run the supply chain end to end:

• purchasing
• planning
• inbound freight
• warehousing
• customer delivery

-Work with freight forwarders on bookings, shipping schedules, customs clearance and import permits

-Decide FCL or LCL per shipment and plan container loading to make full use of space

-Plan and schedule customer deliveries, and coordinate the delivery team and fleet

-Plan routes and truck loads by item size, area and time slot

-Check site access before delivery: lift size, staircases, condo service lift and loading bay bookings

-Set delivery service standards: bed frame assembly, room placement, packaging removal and old mattress removal

-Handle failed deliveries, redeliveries, exchanges and return pickups

-Manage third-party delivery and logistics partners where used: performance, contracts and service levels

-Set storage and handling rules for mattresses and bed frames, and keep warehouse stock records accurate

-Write and improve SOPs for purchasing, inbound, delivery and returns

-Handle tasks relating to purchasing and supplies, planning and inventory, cost and quality, compliance and risk and working with other teams within the company

Requirements

-Minimum Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent

-At least 3-5 years of experience across logistics, supply chain and purchasing in Malaysia or Singapore

-Hands-on experience placing POs and negotiating with overseas suppliers

-Hands-on experience with freight forwarders, customs clearance and import permits

-Experience planning outbound deliveries -Working knowledge of Incoterms and Singapore import procedures

-Strong in Microsoft Office
