Seed Production Operator/Talca

SEASONAL AGRICULTURAL ASSISTANT An important company in the agricultural sector is looking for Agricultural Assistants to join its operations team in the Metropolitan, VI, and VII Regions. Functions: Measure and count sown areas, and perform plant counting in the field. Digitalize the information gathered in geographic information systems software (ArcGIS). Gather and record observations during tours of the various fields. Report the collected information to the operations team. Requirements: Recent graduate of a career related to the agricultural sector or, ideally, with 1 year of experience (an agronomist degree is not required). Valid class B driver's license (mandatory). Having a personal pickup truck is desirable. Knowledge and software handling: Office user level, intermediate desirable (previous experience with geographic information systems is valued). Basic English (the work software is entirely in English). Availability to travel between fields in the RM, VI, and VII Regions. Availability to work in the field, outdoors, full-time.
