Accounting Analyst

We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join a new company project.

The selected person will be responsible for supporting and executing accounting processes, ensuring the correct management, integrity, and timeliness of financial information, as well as participating in closing processes, reconciliations, reporting, and internal control.

Main functions

• Perform monthly accounting entries for depreciation and amortization.
• Support the review, allocation, and recording of provisions and accruals.
• Perform reconciliations of accounting accounts.
• Participate in monthly and annual accounting closing processes.
• Review balance sheet accounts, provisions, reclassifications, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare commission reports and monitor provisions and payments.
• Execute and review the monthly closing of import operations.
• Perform daily loading of bank movements and support cash flow monitoring.
• Monitor pending payments for accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Manage and keep updated master information for suppliers, including tax and banking details.
• Prepare information, reports, and financial analyses requested by management.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Propose improvements in financial processes to favor efficiency, traceability, and standardization.
• Collaborate with local, regional, and international teams.
• Participate in analyses and special projects related to the area.

Requirements

• Professional degree in Contador Auditor, Contador, Ingeniería Comercial, Finanzas, Administración de Empresas, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting positions or areas.
• Experience in general accounting, reconciliations, monthly closings, and support in financial reporting.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Experience in managing ERP systems and/or accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced English, both oral and written, due to interaction with regional and international teams.
