Job Scope Developing, implementing and monitoring safety policies, procedures and systems to ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

Conducting regular site inspections, risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards

Providing safety training and guidance to project teams to promote a strong safety culture

Investigating incidents and near-misses, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Liaising with regulatory authorities and clients to ensure transparency and adherence to requirements

Maintaining comprehensive safety documentation and records

Continuously seeking ways to enhance safety performance and drive continuous improvement

Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in the construction industry

Strong understanding of workplace health, safety and environmental regulations, including the Workplace Safety and Health Act

Registered Safety Officer is a plus

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate safety risks

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels

Proactive, detail-oriented and committed to fostering a positive safety culture
