Treasury & Trade Finance, Senior Executive/ Manager

Responsibilities Manage end-to-end trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, documentary collections and bank guarantees.

Review trade and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with banking and contractual requirements.

Prepare and submit trade finance applications, amendments and supporting documents to banks.

Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies in a timely manner.

Monitor banking facilities, credit limits, utilization, maturity dates, fees and financing costs.

Liaise with banks and financial institutions on transactions, facilities and documentation matters.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, approval procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to facilitate smooth transaction processing.

Support cash flow planning and monitor upcoming payments, receipts and financing requirements.

Review transaction records and reports, and assist in improving operational processes and controls.

Provide guidance to junior team members and perform ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements Diploma or Degree in Finance, Banking, Accountancy, Business or a related discipline.

At least 5 - 6 years of relevant trade finance or treasury experience, preferably within the shipping or marinetime industry.

Practical knowledge of letters of credit, documentary collections, bank guarantees and shipping documents.

Experience managing banking facilities, trade documentation and time-sensitive transactions.

Knowledge of trade finance compliance, AML and sanctions requirements.
