Established Singapore-based building and construction contractor Exposure to residential, commercial, institutional and government projects Opportunity to work on tendering and project cost management Work closely with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors Exposure to the full quantity surveying cycle from tender to final account 5-day work week Singapore-based position 🔧 Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and submission of tender quotations and ensure tender timelines are met. Carry out quantity take-offs and measurements for tender submissions. Perform manual measurement and update tender amendments and changes . Source and obtain quotations, rates and technical information from suppliers and subcontractors. Review and compare quotations to support tender pricing and cost evaluation. Arrange and conduct tender interviews with suppliers and subcontractors. Negotiate prices and commercial terms with suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare Subcontract Agreements and Letters of Award . Monitor progress claims, payment certifications and subcontractor payments . Manage and review Variation Order (VO) submissions . Assist in cost control and commercial administration throughout the project. Assist in the preparation and settlement of final accounts with clients, suppliers and subcontractors. Maintain proper quantity surveying and project cost documentation . Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors on commercial and contractual matters. ✅ Requirements Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building or equivalent qualification. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience for Senior Quantity Surveyor positions. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience may be considered for Quantity Surveyor positions. Relevant experience in the Singapore building construction industry . Good knowledge of quantity measurement, tendering and cost estimation . Experience handling subcontractors, suppliers and tender negotiations . Familiar with progress claims, payment certification, Variation Orders and final accounts . Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant measurement / quantity surveying software . Good communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
