Program Engineer (Precision Manufacturing)

Responsibilities  Manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for high-precision engineering programs from prototype development through final delivery.  Coordinate with NPI, manufacturing, QA, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical or logistical issues and ensure project targets are met.  Provide technical oversight in precision manufacturing processes including CNC machining, micro-fabrication, metrology, and design for manufacturability; oversee prototype development and conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.  Coordinate testing, validation, and inspection activities to ensure products meet strict quality, tolerance, and customer requirements.  Act as the primary technical contact for key accounts, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, providing progress updates, technical documentation, risk assessments, and client presentations.  Support time-sensitive customer communications, including urgent calls and emails outside regular working hours when required. 

Requirements  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related field, with 3–5 years of experience in program/project engineering within precision manufacturing.  Strong technical knowledge of precision manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, micro-fabrication, metrology, and CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD.  Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with experience using tools such as MS Project.  Professional presentation and communication skills, with experience in client-facing technical coordination or account management.  Experience managing customer relationships within the Semiconductor, Aerospace, Medical Device, or Life Sciences industries.  Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100 is advantageous.  Knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques such as additive manufacturing and laser machining is a plus.
