E&I Engineer (water treatment)

Responsibilities

• Support E&I EPC projects from engineering through commissioning and handover.
• Prepare and review E&I drawings, specifications, datasheets, cable schedules, loop drawings, and technical documents.
• Supervise contractors and site installation works, including cables, panels, instruments, conduits, and terminations.
• Prepare cable routes, PLC I/O lists, control system architecture, panel drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
• Support troubleshooting, maintenance, plant modifications, and shutdown activities.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and project progress.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare technical specifications, scope of work, BOQ, progress reports, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and Operations & Maintenance teams.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in EPC, industrial/process plants, water/wastewater, or oil & gas.
• Knowledge of E&I systems, PLC/SCADA, field instruments, and industrial communication protocols.
• Familiar with E&I standards, testing procedures, and safety requirements.
