Trader — FX, Fixed Income & Equity

We are looking for a experienced Trader — FX, Fixed Income & Equity to join Meta X, one of Armenia's leading investment companies.

The role is focused on trade execution across FX, fixed income and equity markets, management of the company’s proprietary trading book, identification of market opportunities. The successful candidate will combine strong market knowledge with disciplined execution, sound risk awareness, and the ability to operate accurately in a fast-moving trading environment.

Execute FX, bond, and equity orders on AMX and international markets, seeking the best available execution,

Manage the proprietary trading book within agreed risk limits, monitoring positions and P&L daily,

Monitor interest rates, FX markets, credit spreads, and broader market developments affecting trading positions,

Proactively identify and present trade ideas and market opportunities to the client team,

Support the Investment team with trade execution, pricing, and relevant market insights,

Maintain accurate trade records and coordinate trade reconciliation with Operations,

Work closely with Investment, Client Services, Operations, and Compliance teams.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field,

2–5 years of professional experience as a Trader or Dealer within a bank, investment company or asset manager,

Experience trading in OTC (over-the-counter) and primary markets.

Strong knowledge of FX markets with proven hands-on FX trading experience,

Working knowledge of Armenian and international fixed-income and equity markets,

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in trade execution, record keeping and reporting,

Central Bank of Armenia qualification, CFA progress or ACI Dealing Certificate is considered an advantage,

Native-level Armenian and full professional proficiency in English and Russian, both written and spoken.
