Perfumer (Cross-Category) $4,000 – $6,000 9am - 6pm, Monday – Friday Boon Lay Key Responsibilities Develop and create fragrances for Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, Home Care, and Fabric Care products. Perform fragrance matching and create new fragrance formulations based on customer requirements. Adapt and optimise fragrance formulas for different product applications while maintaining scent quality and performance. Use GCMS to analyse competitor fragrances and recreate, improve, and optimise fragrance formulations. Troubleshoot fragrance-related issues, including stability, discolouration, and compatibility with different product bases. Collaborate with the Evaluation and R&D teams to test fragrance performance and product stability. Present fragrance concepts and technical solutions to customers. Ensure all fragrance formulations comply with IFRA standards and customer specifications. Requirements Bachelor's Degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or a related field. Graduate of a recognised Perfumery School or possess formal perfumery training. Minimum 5 years of fragrance creation experience across multiple product categories, such as Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, Home Care, or Fabric Care. Hands-on experience in both fragrance matching and fragrance creation. Strong knowledge of fragrance raw materials, formulation, and optimisation. Proficient in GCMS interpretation and fragrance analysis. Good understanding of fragrance stability and performance across different product applications. Good communication and presentation skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
