Shipping / Logistics Coordinator Assistant $2,500 – $3,200 Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm Nearby Little India MRT Benefits: AWS, Bonus, AL up to 21 days Job Responsibilities Handle import and export shipments via sea and air. Prepare shipping documents, invoices, permits, cargo insurance and customs documents. Coordinate container bookings, trucking, local deliveries and transportation arrangements. Monitor vessel schedules and shipment status to ensure timely documentation. Prepare and submit shipping documents including VGM, Bills of Lading (BL) and loading confirmations. Apply for permits and Certificates of Origin through TradeNet and TradeWeb. Coordinate with customers, overseas counterparts, shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters and warehouses. Handle transshipment, LCL shipments and container clearance. Verify shipping line charges and contractor invoices. Submit relevant shipping documents for banking transactions, including D/P, D/A and L/C. Maintain accurate shipping records and perform other logistics/administrative duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum GCE O-Level or equivalent. Prior experience in shipping, logistics, import/export or freight operations is an advantage. Candidates without relevant experience are welcome to apply; training will be provided. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of TradeNet, TradeWeb and shipping documentation is an advantage.
