Assistant Tailor & Sustainability Support

YOUR ROLE

You will support our production team by ensuring garments are finished to a high standard while contributing to creative sustainability initiatives.

• Assist with garment finishing — ironing, buttons, thread trimming and final touches.
• Inspect completed garments and ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify corrections needed before garments are released.
• Ensure garments are clean, pressed, labelled and properly stored.
• Support stock-taking, client order records and garment tracking.
• Collect and organise leftover fabrics and reusable materials.
• Create upcycled clothing, accessories and saleable items from fabric remnants.
• Suggest ideas to reduce waste and improve sustainable production practices.
• Maintain a clean and organised studio environment
