Warehouse Executive
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, issuance, and dispatch of equipment, spare parts, tools, and materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records to ensure sufficient availability of items required for service and operational activities.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing goods by verifying quantities, specifications, condition, and supporting documentation.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliation, investigate discrepancies, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Organise warehouse storage locations and inventory classifications to improve stock traceability, accessibility, and space utilisation.
- Coordinate with service engineers, logistics, purchasing, and other internal teams to ensure timely preparation and issuance of equipment, spare parts, and tools for service assignments.
- Maintain proper documentation for stock receipts, issuances, transfers, returns, deliveries, and other inventory transactions.
- Monitor the condition of stored equipment and materials and arrange appropriate handling, preservation, or corrective action for damaged or non-conforming items.
- Support improvements to warehouse procedures, inventory controls, housekeeping standards, and workplace safety practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare inventory reports and stock movement updates while ensuring warehouse activities comply with established operational and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or supply chain functions.
- Good knowledge of inventory control, stocktaking, goods receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and warehouse documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with experience using ERP, inventory, or warehouse management systems being advantageous.
- Organised and detail-oriented with good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
