Automation Software Engineer (PLC Programming)

Your tasks

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems for automated machinery.
• Design electrical control circuits and prepare schematic drawings.
• Select electrical components and prepare Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Perform software testing, debugging, system integration and commissioning.
• Prepare technical documentation and functional design specifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support when required.

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in industrial automation or semiconductor equipment.
• Proficient in PLC programming using Ladder Logic, Function Block or Structured Text.
• Experience with Mitsubishi or Omron PLC and HMI programming is preferred.
• Able to interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot control systems.
• Knowledge of motion control, PID and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP) is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and support occasional after-hours work or overseas travel.
